The full professor will provide academic leadership in the field of the economics of innovation and new technology. This includes performing high-quality research published in peer reviewed journals, interaction with stakeholders (increasing societal relevance and impact of the institute’s research, as well as fund raising), contributions to policy debates, leading the development of a teaching portfolio at MERIT, most importantly the creation of a new Master program, and teaching, especially at the Master and PhD level.
