Functieomschrijving

You are eager to champion international software implementation projects for customers all over the world. Clearly understanding the cash supply chain, the cash management business processes, our customer’s business case and Transtrack’s standard software product are all key to be that successful Director Operations. The consultants team is managed and guided by you and delivers different types of premium consultancy to our customers. You are a guide to our customer’s and internal organization and provide process and content advice along the way. With a horizon of multiple years, you continuous develop and improve the service we provide to our customer base.

Based in Amsterdam, the Director Operations is a Management team position, which is about taking ownership of projects and consultancy, starting in the pre-sales phase right into a successful rollout of the software within a customer organization. Developments of changes to the standard software may be part of the projects under your control, however our product development team executes these. With your team of consultants, several project managers, the development manager and technical specialists, you run several projects for customers in different countries. Several projects you run yourself in the role of project manager. The Director Operations reports to the Managing Director of Transtrack International.

Functie-eisen

As it is a challenging job and involves complex implementation projects and teams all over the world and great HR capabilities to manage the consultants, you are uniquely equipped to start this journey.

  • Over 5 years of experience as a (project) manager in software implementations
  • BSc/MSc degree
  • Fluent in English in reading & writing
  • Fluent in Dutch is a good asset
  • Strong communicative and interpersonal skills
  • Key competences for the job: leadership, motivating, planning, organizing, customer focus, persuasiveness. result driven
  • Other important characteristics are: analytical, self-starter, strong drive, team player, positive attitude, strong work ethic
  • Comfortable with carrying out presentations to groups and engagement with Senior Management down to operational staff within the customer organization
  • Strong client focus and eager to take ownership
  • This is no 9-5 job and requires flexibility to travel
  • Eager to achieve major steps in personal development
  • Based in or near Amsterdam

The team based in Amsterdam consists of Sales, Consultants, Product development and Support staff and travels around the world to sell and implement the software. Typical clients are Commercial Banks, Central Banks, Cash Management businesses, Retailers and Cash Transportation & Processing businesses.
